1. What we collect

Account data: email address (if you sign in with Google or email), display name if you set one, and an internal user ID.
Program data: your intake answers (goals, focus areas, notes), the programs generated for you, and your session history (which program, when, how long).
Billing data: your subscription status and plan. Card details are handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store them.
Technical data: basic app analytics and logs needed to run and secure the Service.

2. How we use it

To generate your personalized programs. Your intake answers are sent to our AI provider (Anthropic) to create your program scripts; they are not used to train AI models.
To sync your programs and progress across devices.
To manage subscriptions and payments (via Stripe).
To operate, secure, and improve the Service.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

3. Where it lives

Your data is stored in Google Firebase (Authentication and Cloud Firestore), hosted on Google Cloud infrastructure in the United States. Payment records live in Stripe.

4. Guest mode

If you use ManiTap as a guest, your programs and progress are tied to an anonymous session. Creating an account later attaches that data to your account. Clearing your browser data while in guest mode can permanently delete your local data.

5. Your rights

Export: download all your programs and session history from Settings at any time.
Deletion: request full deletion of your account and data at support@manitap.com — we remove your authentication account, your profile, and all stored programs and sessions.
Access & correction: contact us to review or correct your data.

Depending on where you live (e.g., EU/EEA, UK, California), you may have additional statutory rights; we honor verified requests accordingly.

6. Sensitive information — a candid note

Your intake answers may include personal reflections (goals, worries, resistance). Treat them as you would a journal: share only what you're comfortable with. The Service works fine with general answers.

7. Children

ManiTap is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their data.

8. Changes

We may update this policy; material changes will be announced in the app.
